10 years of SER conference

The 3rd of September 2011 will mark the 10 years since the start of SIP Express Router project (aka SER – also the origin in 2005 for Kamailio (OpenSER) project, the two are back together since 2008). You can read more details about the history of the project on this web page.

On Friday, September 2, 2011, FhG Fokus Research Institute – NGNI Competence Center, Berlin, Germany, will host a day long conference to celebrate the event. In the evening it will be a social networking event at a location near by.

The participation is free of charge (to the conference during the day as well as to the evening party), in the limit of available seats. Attendees will be selected upon registration via the contact form.

The goal of the conference is to present the history and evolution of the project so far, sketch the plans for the future as well as show use cases of SER, Kamailio and OpenIMSCore to build products or offer services for real time communications. In addition, several guests will present complementary systems that can be integrated with SER and Kamailio. You are welcome to present yours, please send the title of your topic and a short description via email to registration@lists.sip-router.org.
