Conference Room:

• Room nr. 908, ninth floor
• you need to register at the reception in the first floor to get a visitor pass
• the reception is in front of the main entrance, you just need to say your name and company
• you can ask the reception to call the conference room, if you arrive later
• after registration you’ll get also a contact number, just in case..

Directions and reachability

• with taxi:
  • it should not cost more then 10€ from the central station, 10-15€ from the city center
  • should be only a few minutes drive
• with public transportation:
  • from the central station just take the tram, it goes every 10 minutes through the day
  • unfortunally there is no direct connection, you need to change one time
  • tram schedule around the arrival time as download: pdf
  • get of at the station “Europahalle”, this takes about 20 minutes, our office is the only building in front of the station
  • from the city center (“Marktplatz”) take the tram line 1 – direction “Oberreut”, this takes about 15 minutes
  • a single ticket cost 2€, a good option is the 24h ticket, also called “City ticket” for 4.50€

• by feet:
  • if you stay in the western part of the city center, its also possible to walk
  • should be about 15-20 minutes
• by car:
  • there is a parking garage just around the corner, see the directions to “Parkplatz Europahalle”
  • it also possible to park in the area around the offices too

Airports:

• Frankfurt am Main
  • good reachability from europe and the world
  • good and direct connection with high-speed train to Karlsruhe, about 1h
  • train station “Fernbahnhof” directly on the airport (link to train informations see below)
• Stuttgart
  • Germanwings, other cheap carriers mostly from europe
  • train connection is about 1,5h, as some change is involve
  • local train from airport to Stuttgart central station, then take high-speed train, or regional train to Karlsruhe (link to train informations see below)
• Baden-Baden
  • small airport, Air Berlin, Ryanair
  • only bus transfer to Baden-Baden and Karlsruhe, about 1h
  • take local Bus from airport to Baden-Baden, then train to Karlsruhe
  • there is also a direct Bus from airport to Karlsruhe central station

Trains:

• good high-speed ICE connection to Frankfurt, Cologne, Berlin, Stuttgart, Munich
• high-speed TGV connection to Paris
