The goal of this works is to create a sip-router module that can be used to execute programs written in Python. The proposed interface mechanism should pay special attention to efficiency, we need to eliminate the overhead of starting the Python interpreter for every SIP message. It would be also nice if resources like database connections initiated from Python environment were long-lived and could be shared across multiple SIP messages.

Start with a research of available Python-Apache integration techniques. Also probably worth a look is the existing perl module integration in modules_k/perl.
